It has been 24 hours since the last ultrasound and I still can’t stop thinking about it. It was just amazing to see our little child growing up in there. The detail was very impressive. When they showed the heart, we could clearly see all four chambers. When they showed the spine we could clearly see each vertebra. They showed each of the arm bones, leg bones, little feet, and little hands. I was struggling to remember all my high school biology so I could tell the ulnas from femurs from the tibias!
She was very active for us; we saw her waving her hands and spinning all around. The ultrasound tech said she thinks the babies can hear all the people talking about them so they put on a show. It was day I won’t forget, that is for sure.
