We had an excellent doctor who attended closely to Pam all during her pregnancy and delivered little Samantha to us. If you are looking for a OB/GYN, we heartily recommend the practice Dr. Bailey runs with Dr. Monzo at Lankenau Hospital. The were both extremely attentive, caring, and kind; we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The nurses at Lankenau attended to all our requests and are taking great care of Pam and Sam as well. All the labor and recovery rooms here are private which is great and the whole floor is bright, clean, and cheery. Thanks everyone at Lankenau for the great experience!

Pam’s Dad and my family stopped over after dinner yesterday and were fawning all over little Sam.
Here is my Mom and Dad snuggling their new granddaughter:
Here is Pam’s Dad who is just bursting with joy:
My sister couldn’t put her down, it was really cool to see how maternal she has become. Her husband also seemed right at home with a little baby which is no surprise considering that their son Maddox is only 3 months old.
Here is another one of Sam’s proud father:

Ok gang, here are the pics you have been waiting for 🙂
Thankfully I was able to sleep last night enough that I was able to work my camera this morning. Here are the happiest photos I have ever taken in my entire life. Isn’t she just gorgeous?!
I think her shirt makes her look kind of Jedi like. I am sure she will exert her powers over me and Pam!
Here is a big yawn to start her first full day in the new world.
Yeah, this is just what my hair does in the morning too 🙂
The little parts are just so cute!
Here is the proud and beautiful mom with her happy baby.
And here is one of the equally proud, though somewhat less beautiful Dad 😉
Here is one with Grandma Joan. Thanks Joan for staying in the hospital all that time with us! It really was very helpful and comforting to have you there.
More pics to come. . .

Family and friends, we are super excited to introduce you (finally!) to Samantha Anne Myers! She was born at 3:55pm on September 23rd, and was 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 20.5 inches. She is absolutely beautiful, I will get some more pics up as soon as I can. Mom is doing great too, she is in recovery now and is in great spirits. I’ll post more later, I want to go see our little Samantha again now!

Pam is 7 centimeters dilated now so we are getting there. They started the Pitocin drip again which should hopefully help to move her along. We are hoping to see Sam by shortly after lunch today.
