My goal for the day was to get some photos of her lovely little eyes. Being a newborn, her eyes are closed most of the time. I took a chance with getting her all posed and wouldn’t you know it, she cooperated really well by keeping her eyes open for a full 15 minutes straight!
This is my favorite photograph of the day. I wonder what color her eyes will turn out to be.
She looks rather plaintive here. “Hmm, do Io want Mommy or Daddy to feed me? ”
Ten bucks my Mom leaves a comment here saying that I use to sleep just like this, which I did. My parents even had a statue of a baby sleeping that way.
Here is Sam with her loving Mom and Grandmom.
Thanks everyone for all the flowers and balloons! They are lovely and really help to cheer up our little room.

We had an excellent doctor who attended closely to Pam all during her pregnancy and delivered little Samantha to us. If you are looking for a OB/GYN, we heartily recommend the practice Dr. Bailey runs with Dr. Monzo at Lankenau Hospital. The were both extremely attentive, caring, and kind; we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The nurses at Lankenau attended to all our requests and are taking great care of Pam and Sam as well. All the labor and recovery rooms here are private which is great and the whole floor is bright, clean, and cheery. Thanks everyone at Lankenau for the great experience!

Pam’s Dad and my family stopped over after dinner yesterday and were fawning all over little Sam.
Here is my Mom and Dad snuggling their new granddaughter:
Here is Pam’s Dad who is just bursting with joy:
My sister couldn’t put her down, it was really cool to see how maternal she has become. Her husband also seemed right at home with a little baby which is no surprise considering that their son Maddox is only 3 months old.
Here is another one of Sam’s proud father:
