Neither rain nor hail nor sleet nor snow (LOL, JK!)

So yesterday we got another tremendous snow storm, about 30 inches (76 centimeters) in our area. It was so bad, the mail service canceled mail delivery in most of the mid-Atlantic part of the county, the first time I have ever seen that happen. Pretty much everything shut down and it is still a mess out there today. Luckily, we were prepared with plenty of food and spent the day making homemade sauce and taking turns shoveling. Below are a few pics, these are starting to look pretty familiar aren’t they? No pics of Sam outside, it is too cold out there at only 17 degrees (-8 Celsius) for babies.

I thought this pic is pretty funny, this is what 2 and half feet of snow on top of our mailbox looks like. As you can surmise, the snow had to pretty heavy and sticky to do this.

This should give you an idea of the depth of the snow, the area on the right is grassy and is the same height as the sidewalk. Notice the cars completely plowed in under the snow.
