Steppin’ Out

Sam has been climbing stairs like crazy for a few months now but hasn’t mastered the art of coming back down the stairs. We’ve been working with her on the step from our living room out to our porch and today she finally did it all by herself! I was watching Sam and decided to just sit on the porch and see if she would figure out how to go down the step on her own to get out.

Success, look at that proud smile:
We rewarded her by letting her climb one of the chairs on the porch. This one still loves to climb anything she can reach.
