Gotta Love That Easter Bunny!

| April 8, 2012

Easter morning was a very exciting time in our house.  The Easter Bunny came!  We told Sam she had to look around to see where he hid her basket because he’s a sneaky bunny and you never know where it is going to be.  Sam looked all over our kitchen and our dining room.  We told he to go ask Zephyr if she knew where it was.

Success!

That’s a pretty full basket for a little girl, but she was very anxious to bring it over for us to see.

One of the first words out of her mouth was “candy”!  She liked looking in all the plastic eggs to see what treats were left for her.  The Easter Bunny must know that Hershey Kisses are one of her favorites.

She got a lot of Rosalind chocolate too and some jelly beans.  You can see her cheek is stuffed full of candy in this picture.

The Easter Bunny always leaves toys too.  She got a wooden snake, a flute, some egg shaped sidewalk chalk, some Elmo socks and a few books with paints.

Daddy was the primary egg opener so he got a thank you kiss.

Oh yes, and stickers.  That Bunny knows Sam loves stickers!

Mark asked her to smile nicely so that we could get a good picture together and instead we got her putting her fingers in her ears and sticking out her tongue.  Mark taught her that – they do it out the window to each other, but it is the first time she ever started doing it on her own.  She cracks me up.

Happy Easter!
