Playing with Pop Pop

Sam has always been a little shy around her Pop Pop, Mark’s dad, and we don’t really know why. He is sweet as can be with her, and loves her so much, but you know how kids can be. The only thing we can figure is that he is a little intimidating because he is so big compared to her. He talks so quietly and nicely to her though, and over time, she has begun to hang out with him more and more. She will pretty freely give hugs now and on this day, when Mark’s parents came over to visit, she had quite a good time playing Legos with her Pop Pop. It was really nice to see them bonding together, especially as it was over something that Mark loved too as a little boy.
