Happy Independence Day!

This year, we didn’t do much 4th of July-ish, no parade, no fireworks, but we did have a wonderful, relaxing day off with Sam at the pool. We had planned on trying to take her to see fireworks this year (it would be her first time) but at the last minute decided against it. She was so wiped out from the pool that it would have been pushing her limits. Fireworks would have meant staying up way past her bedtime and hoping she wasn’t freaked out by the noise (her one big fear is loud noises). Oh well, maybe next year! Happy Independence Day!
