Daddy’s Birthday

Mark’s birthday was on a Monday this year, so we celebrated a bit early, the Saturday before. It was supposed to be a big family dinner but Krista was sick so we had a nice small dinner with just us and Pop Pop. Here are a few choice photos of Sam helping her Daddy open his gifts and of course, eat cake!
This first photo is pretty funny, as you will see from later posts. One day when we were driving to dinner, Mark pointed out these really cute car magnets on the car in front of us. We all liked the little cats and agreed we’d like those on our cars too. I thought it would be a nice surprise to find them for Mark so I did a little Internet digging and found them on Cafe Press. Well, Mark did the same digging and I got them for Mother’s Day! Great minds think alike. When I bought them I showed Sam a photo on the computer. She immediately said she wanted one, which is why I, quite smartly, bought one for Sam too. Mark did the same thing – we know our daughter! So…the Myers house is flush with cat magnets. 🙂
Sam is the best at blowing out candles. It is easier to just let her do it than try to blow them out yourself.
Happy Birthday, Daddy! We all love you so much and don’t know what we’d do without you!
