Cinderelly, Cinderelly, Night and Day It’s Cinderelly!

Yesterday we took Sam to the Media Theatre to see the latest children’s theater production, Cinderella. I had been lamenting that we never seem to take Sam anywhere, and when Mark saw this in the paper, we knew we had to go. Cinderella is her favorite of the princesses. We told her where we were going the night before at dinner when she was being fussy. The deal was that if she ate all her dinner, we would go to see Cinderella. Wow, did she eat fast!
The day of the show, I had promised her she could wear her Cinderella outfit. This was definitely a special treat since I tell her all the time that her gown is only for dress up and not going out clothes. She got all decked out and ready to go!
This is one happy little princess.
We all got dressed up for the occasion. It seemed only fitting as Sam was so dressed for the day.
Finally, we were allowed inside to our seats. We were only about 10 rows back in the center, so we could see everything.
Sam’s Cinderella doll had to come to, as you can see.
Although other little girls were dressed up, I think Sam was the prettiest by far.
She really enjoyed the show which had a bunch of kids in playing parts so that was nice for Sam to see. It was fun for her to see the songs she knows so well from the movie being sung by real people on stage. She laughed and smiled and had just a great time. But I think the highlight was after the show when she got to meet — Cinderella! (I still think Sam is the prettiest of them all).
