Super Pumpkin!

Sam was so excited to grow the pumpkins this year in our yard and the fascination has definitely not worn off. The first pumpkin she picked is sitting proudly in front of our fireplace and Sam visits it all the time. The other day, while she was running around in her cat mask pretending to be a cat, she came walking into the kitchen with – SuperPumpkin! You didn’t know pumpkins enjoy dress up too, did you?
Later, Pumpkin decided it wanted to be a cat too.
Sam’s second pumpkin was pretty much ready to pick so, in fear that a critter in our yard would find it a tempting snack, we let her pick that one too. She would have been so upset if anything happened to it!
Sam is quite the little farmer. She can’t wait to grow more next year. I told her that hopefully we’d get a whole pumpkin patch full! This year, only two, but that’s ok. Sam was happy. So far, this little pumpkin has been clothing free. But who knows? Halloween is still a little while away – it has plenty of time to decide on its costume!
