Welcome Home, Pop Pop!

Mark’s dad went on a cross country trip in early September. He and his friend drove all the way to California! Sam missed him a lot, especially on special occasions like my and her birthdays. I am glad that in the last months, Sam has gotten a lot closer to her Pop Pop. She genuinely loves to see him and is sad when he goes home.
When he got home from his trip, Sam was so excited to have him come over for dinner. He kindly brought us all some gifts of jewelry he found on his travels. Sam put all of hers on at once for a photo.
After dinner, it was time for Sam’s belated birthday presents! She got more furniture for her dollhouse – the most exciting thing yet – the Christmas tree complete with presents and a fireplace with stockings!
Sam loved all her gifts and couldn’t wait to get them into her dollhouse. We had to quickly rearrange the furniture to make it fit just perfectly.
And it does! Now the little dollhouse family is all ready for Santa!
