We have had a race of burned out light bulbs in our family room lately and was so sick of changing them. I told Mark we have to try some LED bulbs. The last time we tried them (which was a few years ago), they buzzed horribly with the dimmer, but we were ready to try again. So, off I went to Home Depot to search for bulbs. While we were there, Sam was browsing the aisle and she found a projection nightlight that she begged and begged for. You can choose to project the earth, the moon, animals, fish, etc. I told her it did look kind of cool, but I wasn’t sure it would work because her ceiling is painted a light blue, and sometimes things don’t project well on colored ceilings and walls. We brought it home and when the room was dark enough plugged it in. It worked! Sam was beyond excited! We put the earth display on and she lit up her ladybug that projects stars. She has had that since she was a baby, just about. Her Mom Mom bought it for her and she still loves it. I hope from heaven Mom Mom can see how beautiful Sam’s room looks. 🙂
