Time to visit the big guy in red! Sam has been asking us when she can visit Santa and we thought it was about time! She has her list ready, but she didn’t bring it. She just told him what she wanted, although, I will note that she is always a bit shy when it comes to talking to Santa, so she only mentioned one thing, an American Girl Bitty Baby and the baby monitor. There are many more things on her list, believe me! I can’t believe how big she is getting. I mean, her feet are just about on the floor!
I always love the pictures where she and Santa are looking at each other. I have no idea how many more years I am going to have of her wanting to visit Santa, but I am loving every year that I get. These days, kids grow up so fast….
The photographer insisted we take a family picture, so why not?
We snapped a few quick pictures around the King of Prussia Mall too. I love the giant tree they put up this year!
And could these reindeer be any bigger?
After our mall trek, we did a little bit of shopping. While we were waiting for Mark to come out of a store, we saw one of those kiosks that sell the ornaments you can have personalized with members of your family. She really loves those this year. We already bought one with all of our names on it, including all her grandparents. There was one in particular at this kiosk that she loved. She asked me very shyly if the ornaments were expensive and I told her not really. She asked me in the sweetest voice ever if she could have one with her, Boo Boo, and Baby Ann on it. She loves those toys so much, it was hard to say no — so I didn’t! Sam was so excited to show her besties when she got home.
Grandmom had also bought her a tiny mistletoe ornament that she loved. I thought it was very sweet that she specifically hung it next to her Poppy on her tree. My girl is the best.
Here is her complete Santa list. Her spelling is still horrible (we are working on it), but she asked for a brown American Girl horse, a robot with the gripper, the Cutie Car Diner and a Bitty Baby and the Bitty Baby monitor (these are American Girl). She added a P.S. that she wants an Enchantimal. She’s never done that before! We’ll have to see what Santa brings! He always seems to come through!
