I seriously cannot believe that spring is less than 2 weeks away. I mean, this is a lot of snow! Sam and Mark made a snowman while I stayed inside nice and cozy and warm. 🙂
While I was sticking my head out the door to take a few pictures, Penny ran out, crazy cat that she is, and Mark and Sam took her outside for a short little adventure. They are all crazy! Zach and I stayed inside where it is nice and warm, thank you very much!

All kids are obsessed with making slime these days and when Julia came over for a long awaited playdate, the two of them begged me to let them make slime. I think they were shocked when I said yes, but honestly, it is not messy at all, despite sounding like it would be, and hey, it keeps them busy and out of my hair! Here’s the two buddies doing their slimy thing. 🙂

It was Dr. Seuss week at school again and there are always a ton of activities for the kids every day. Here are some of the best ones Sam did this week.
For Mixed Up Monday, Sam wore a backwards sweater, Halloween pants, had one ponytail and one braid, and she did eventually put on mismatched sneakers, once she got fully dressed.
For Theodore Thursday, when she was supposed to dress like her favorite Dr. Seuss character, she chose Sam from Green Eggs and Ham, of course!
Pajama Day was probably her favorite, but the whole week was a success!

Last night Sam decided she wanted to read to Penny. She has a few books called, “Stories to Read to Your Cat” and she thought they would be perfect. The stories are meant to be told sort of from a cat’s point of view, or about things cats would enjoy, like catching bugs. I just love hearing Sam read, and watching Penny sit so patiently with her while Sam read the story was priceless.
It’s too cute to not share. Here they are!
