Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from Merida! Doesn’t she look adorable? Of course she does! Our little girl looks fabulous in everything she wears. I love her Halloween costumes. This year she wanted to be Merida, from the movie “Brave”. It was the first year she wanted to be a Disney princess, something for which I am somewhat grateful. She definitely has the hair color for it, if not the curls. We did spend some time with a curling iron giving her some curls, but how long they last is anyone’s guess.

She is rocking that costume, for sure!

We had a bit of trouble getting her to shoot her arrows correctly, but that’s ok. She’s a lover, not a fighter! 🙂

It was all we could do to make her wait for it to get dark. She wanted to go out so badly! It really stinks that Halloween is on a school night. We tried to keep the night early, but you can only do so much. You have to wait for dark, and for people to get home from work! We did head off down the street to meet her friend, Lina and her family. And Julia was on the way! It was going to be a fun night watching the group of kiddos banging on doors together.

Here they are! Ready for candy!

Julia caught up right away and they were off! There is loot to be scored!

Back home with bags too full to carry, there was time for one more picture of Merida and Harley Quinn.

Look at all this candy! Insane! I think it was a good night. And the best part, Sam was actually asleep by 8:30! Happy Halloween!

With her hair color, Sam was the perfect Meridia.
