Happy Mother’s Day
Posted By markmyers on May 12, 2013
Sam wanted to get her Mom something special for Mother’s Day this year. She’s always liked to paint and like to watch the birds with Mommy so I thought she would like to paint some birdhouses as a surprise. Well boy, did she like that! I got her a house which looks a Lincoln Log house that she builds with Mommy all the time and a rocket ship because Sam has always like rocket ships. She couldn’t decide which one she liked better so I let her paint both.
Here she is painting the house. Yes she is using two bushes, one in each hand. That was her idea and she was actually pretty good at it!
She insisted on painting the inside of the rocket ship too so that the birds “would have a nice room!”
She really took her time because she wanted to do a great job for Mommy who she said would be so excited.
“Hmm, how did all this paint get on my hand?”
Sam did a great job and she is so excited to give these to her Mom on Mother’s Day. They are supposed to be a surprise and she did a pretty job good job of not talking about them but she was so excited I think she let out a few hints. Plus, Mom suspects we were up to something because even though I tried, I couldn’t get all the paint off Sam 🙂

Sam is such a special girl. I am sure Pam was thrilled to get those beautiful bird houses.
