Some new photos of Sam

I can’t believe how fast the time is blowing by. She will be almost 3 weeks old soon. I look at her and feel like she was just born. Every day I think she is more and more beautiful : )
Yesterday her birth cerficate came in the mail. Yet another little thing that for some reason was really exciting, and I have no idea why. I guess it’s just more concrete proof that she is here. I swear, sometimes, I still don’t feel like having her is real. We waited so long for her, to actually have her with us seems like a dream.
A while ago, I posted pictures of Mark in the bassinet that his grandfather made for him to sleep in when he was born. We have been putting Sam to sleep there every night since she came home. Eventually, she will graduate to her full size crib, but right now, I think she likes being cozy in her tiny bed, her trusty pacifer not far from her head. God forbid you lose that thing! We have them all over the house! She really can’t sleep well at night without being swaddled tightly like she is here, and she usually likes her pacifier right when she goes to sleep. She LOVES her pacifier — she looks just like Maggie from the Simpsons when she has it. It cracks us up.
Here is Sam with Mark’s mom and dad. Such proud, happy grandparents!
I think I’ve mentioned before that the kitties have been so good since she came home. They haven’t acted out at all, and they don’t show any resentment toward her even when they want food or attention and I have to feed or change her first. As you can see, they are being very good to her : ) I think they are still confused as to exactly what the heck she is.
Muffin wanted a little mommy time, even if Sam was in the way of his cuddling.
Here is Sam with her proud daddy, chilling out in his recliner.

Love the pixs. Was she listening to Ella Fitzgerald music when she was wearing that onesie?
No, actually, I think we had Louis Armstrong on!
Mark,
What a GREAT picture! You both look fantastic, love, mom
Mark and Pam,
The pictures of the cousins, dad and I and Samantha are fantastic. Could I have a print of them and one of Pam with Samantha and Krista with Maddox–the one you took outside—that is one of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen and one with you and Samantha with her Ella shirt. love, mom
